The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.84.30

सविधिप्रतिषेधार्थाः सशुभाशुभकल्पनाः ।
सदक्षिणाग्नयो यज्ञाः पुरोडाशाद्यशंसिनः ॥ ३० ॥

savidhipratiṣedhārthāḥ saśubhāśubhakalpanāḥ |
sadakṣiṇāgnayo yajñāḥ puroḍāśādyaśaṃsinaḥ || 30 ||

It ordains the injunctions and prohibitions (of law), and gives the rules of auspicious and inauspicious acts and rites; it directs the sacrifices and sacrificial fires, and the modes of offering cakes and oblations.
