The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.84.3

यथैकं पवनस्पन्दमेकमौष्ण्यानलौ यथा ।
चिन्मात्रं स्पन्दशक्तिश्च तथैवैकात्म सर्वदा ॥ ३ ॥

yathaikaṃ pavanaspandamekamauṣṇyānalau yathā |
cinmātraṃ spandaśaktiśca tathaivaikātma sarvadā || 3 ||

As the wind is one with its vacillation, and the fire is identic with its heat; so is the intellect identical with its oscillation.
