The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.84.2

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
स भैरवश्चिदाकाशः शिव इत्यभिधीयते ।
अनन्यां तस्य तां विद्धि स्पन्दशक्तिं मनोमयीम् ॥ २ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
sa bhairavaścidākāśaḥ śiva ityabhidhīyate |
ananyāṃ tasya tāṃ viddhi spandaśaktiṃ manomayīm || 2 ||

Vasishtha replied:—It is the vacuum of the intellect, which is called both as Siva and Bhairava; and it is this intellectual power or force, which is identic with itself, that is called Kali and its consorting mind.
