The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

उत्पातशान्तिमरणोत्सवयुद्धसाम्यविद्वेषरागभयविश्वसनादि तत्र ।
एकत्र कोश इव रत्नचयो विभाति नानारसाप्रतिघसर्गपरम्परं तत् ॥ ८७ ॥

utpātaśāntimaraṇotsavayuddhasāmyavidveṣarāgabhayaviśvasanādi tatra |
ekatra kośa iva ratnacayo vibhāti nānārasāpratighasargaparamparaṃ tat || 87 ||

Life and death, peace and trouble, joy and sorrow, war and truce, anger and fear, envy and enmity, faith and distrust and all other opposite feelings; are concomitants with this worldly life, and they dwell together in the same person, as the various gems stored in a chest.
