The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.81.81

रत्नानि भास्करनिशाकरमण्डलानि तारोत्करास्तरलमण्डलकान्तिहाराः ।
स्वच्छाम्बराणि वलितानि महाम्बराणि कुर्वन्त्यनारतमनल्पमलातलेखाः ॥ ८१ ॥

ratnāni bhāskaraniśākaramaṇḍalāni tārotkarāstaralamaṇḍalakāntihārāḥ |
svacchāmbarāṇi valitāni mahāmbarāṇi kurvantyanāratamanalpamalātalekhāḥ || 81 ||

The sun and moon are the two bright gems on her person, and the clusters of stars form her necklaces of lesser gems; the clear firmament is her white apparel, and the flashes of lightnings form the brocaded fringes of her garment.
