The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.80.38

आब्रह्मलोकपातालं शान्तं शून्यमथाभवत् ।
रजोधूमानिलाम्भोधिभूतमुक्तं समं नभः ॥ ३८ ॥

ābrahmalokapātālaṃ śāntaṃ śūnyamathābhavat |
rajodhūmānilāmbhodhibhūtamuktaṃ samaṃ nabhaḥ || 38 ||

There appears at last a calm and quiet vacuity as the azure sky, and resembling the wide ocean filled with flying dust and smoke; and devoid of any being or created thing, and stretching from the Empyrean of God to the lowest abyss or infernum.
