The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.80.31

तेनैव च निगीर्णः सन्परमां शान्तिमेत्यसौ ।
निर्मलाकाशरूपाप्मा कृष्ण इत्येष ईश्वरः ॥ ३१ ॥

tenaiva ca nigīrṇaḥ sanparamāṃ śāntimetyasau |
nirmalākāśarūpāpmā kṛṣṇa ityeṣa īśvaraḥ || 31 ||

This Lord having at last destroyed and devoured the whole creation, rests himself in perfect peace, and becomes of the form of pure air and of the blue firmament.
