The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.80.19

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
काकुत्स्थ रुद्रनामासावहंकारतयोत्थितः ।
विषमैकाभिमानात्मा मूर्तिरस्यामलं नभः ॥ १९ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
kākutstha rudranāmāsāvahaṃkāratayotthitaḥ |
viṣamaikābhimānātmā mūrtirasyāmalaṃ nabhaḥ || 19 ||

Vasishtha replied:—This being is named Rudra or fierce, for his being the aggregate of Egoism. He is full of his self-pride, and the form in which I beheld him, was that of a clear vacuity.
