The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.79.1

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
एतस्मिन्नन्तरे चक्षुर्व्योमस्थोऽहमथात्यजम् ।
ब्रह्मलोके महालोके प्रभातेऽर्कप्रभामिव ॥ १ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
etasminnantare cakṣurvyomastho'hamathātyajam |
brahmaloke mahāloke prabhāte'rkaprabhāmiva || 1 ||

Vasishtha resumed:—Seeing the end of all I still retained my seat in infinite vacuity; and my eyes were detained by the sight of a glorious light, shining as the morning rays of the rising luminary of the day.
