The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.77.23

कृतकर्कशनिर्ह्रादैरसुंरैरिव मारुतैः ।
उह्यमानवनव्यूहप्रोतवातायनैर्वृतम् ॥ २३ ॥

kṛtakarkaśanirhrādairasuṃrairiva mārutaiḥ |
uhyamānavanavyūhaprotavātāyanairvṛtam || 23 ||

The winds growled with harsh sounds, resembling the jarring noise of demons; and these blowing amidst the woods, appeared to be passing through the windows.
