The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

मृतार्धमृतदग्धार्धदग्धाङ्गैर्देवदानवैः ।
अन्योन्यदर्शनाद्वातवेल्लितैर्भ्रामितायुधम् ॥ १९ ॥

mṛtārdhamṛtadagdhārdhadagdhāṅgairdevadānavaiḥ |
anyonyadarśanādvātavellitairbhrāmitāyudham || 19 ||

Now the dead and half dead, the burnt and half burnt bodies, of gods and demigods, of Gandharvas and men beheld one another in the general ruin, and fled and fell upon each other with their lifted arms and weapons, with the velocity of the winds.
