The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.76.38

ज्वालालवोल्ललनडम्बरमम्बरं तद्व्यूढस्थलाब्जदलजालमिवालमासीत् ।
ज्वालाभ्रमद्भमरपङ्क्तिनिभास्तदासंस्तत्र स्फुरच्छिशिरसीकरपक्षपुञ्जाः ॥ ३८ ॥

jvālālavollalanaḍambaramambaraṃ tadvyūḍhasthalābjadalajālamivālamāsīt |
jvālābhramadbhamarapaṅktinibhāstadāsaṃstatra sphuracchiśirasīkarapakṣapuñjāḥ || 38 ||

Now the vault of heaven, appeared to be overspread with a network, studded with red lotuses of the flying fires on high; while the dark showers had the appearance of swarms of black bees, and the rain drops likened their fluttering wings.
