The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

ब्रह्माण्डकुड्यनिविडमण्डलास्फोटपण्डितः ॥ २८ ॥

bhittibhāsuranīhārabhāranirvāradiktaṭaḥ |
brahmāṇḍakuḍyaniviḍamaṇḍalāsphoṭapaṇḍitaḥ || 28 ||

These clouds were capable of rending the great vault of the world (heaven), with their loud uproar; and splitting all the sides of heaven, standing upon their solid snow white and impregnable walls.
