The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.76.18

तेन ज्वालाचलाः प्रान्तोड्डीनाङ्गारविहंगमाः ।
लोलोल्मुकवनाक्रान्ता जग्मुरग्निदिशं द्रुतम् ॥ १८ ॥

tena jvālācalāḥ prāntoḍḍīnāṅgāravihaṃgamāḥ |
lololmukavanākrāntā jagmuragnidiśaṃ drutam || 18 ||

These winds blew away the mountainous flames, and put to flight the burning cinders as birds to a distance; they bore down the spreading sparks, and drove away the fire from all sides.
