The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
अथ कल्पान्तमरुति वहत्यवधुताचले ।
बलेनाम्भोधिकल्लोलैर्नभस्यावर्तकारिणि ॥ १ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
atha kalpāntamaruti vahatyavadhutācale |
balenāmbhodhikallolairnabhasyāvartakāriṇi || 1 ||

Vasishtha added:—Now blew the destroying winds, shaking the mountains by their force: and filling the seas with tremendous waves, and rending the skies with cyclonic storms.
