The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

शुष्काणां व्योमविटपिपत्राणां पात्ररूपिणाम् ।
वारिदानां सवारीणां दग्धानां प्रलयार्चिषा ॥ ५८ ॥

śuṣkāṇāṃ vyomaviṭapipatrāṇāṃ pātrarūpiṇām |
vāridānāṃ savārīṇāṃ dagdhānāṃ pralayārciṣā || 58 ||

The dried leaves of trees ascending high in the air, were burnt away by the flame instead of the rain of heavy clouds.
