The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

दग्धाब्दाद्रिर्महाधूमज्वालोऽभूद्वह्निवारिदः ।
रसविस्मरणार्तानां शून्यानां स्फारदेहिनाम् ॥ ५७ ॥

dagdhābdādrirmahādhūmajvālo'bhūdvahnivāridaḥ |
rasavismaraṇārtānāṃ śūnyānāṃ sphāradehinām || 57 ||

Mountainous clouds of fire, accompanied with flame and fume, poured liquid fire around; and burnt away all bodies, already dried up by heat and for want of water.
