The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

स्फुरत्कटकटाटोपचटत्पत्तनमण्डलम् ।
विदधद्भूतलोद्भूतधूमदण्डैः शिलाघनैः ॥ १६ ॥

sphuratkaṭakaṭāṭopacaṭatpattanamaṇḍalam |
vidadhadbhūtalodbhūtadhūmadaṇḍaiḥ śilāghanaiḥ || 16 ||

The falling buildings emitted a cracking and crackling noise all around, and the earth was covered with columns of dark smoke, as by the thickening clouds and mists.
