वातस्कन्धे समाक्रान्ते ब्रह्मणा प्राणमारुते ।
समं गन्तुं परित्यज्य संस्थितिं क्षोभमागते ॥ ३ ॥

vātaskandhe samākrānte brahmaṇā prāṇamārute |
samaṃ gantuṃ parityajya saṃsthitiṃ kṣobhamāgate || 3 ||

The atmospheric air, being compressed with the vital breath of Brahma; the perturbed creation (as described before), was about to come to its ultimate quietus.
