The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

जगन्नाम मुधा भ्रान्तिः किल स्वप्नपुरोपमा ।
मिथ्यैवेयं क्व नामासौ चिद्रूपास्त्यथ नास्ति च ॥ १५ ॥

jagannāma mudhā bhrāntiḥ kila svapnapuropamā |
mithyaiveyaṃ kva nāmāsau cidrūpāstyatha nāsti ca || 15 ||

What you call the world is a mere fallacy, and resembles your vision of a fairy city in dream; it is a false name applied to an object, existing nowhere beyond the intellect.
