The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.67.26

अज्ञोऽपि तज्ज्ञतामेति शनैः शैलोपि चूर्ण्यते ।
बाणोप्येति महालक्ष्यं पश्याभ्यासविजृम्भितम् ॥ २६ ॥

ajño'pi tajjñatāmeti śanaiḥ śailopi cūrṇyate |
bāṇopyeti mahālakṣyaṃ paśyābhyāsavijṛmbhitam || 26 ||

See the effect of practice, which makes a learned man of a dunce (by his habitude to study); and reduces a stone to dust (by continued pounding). Look at the force of the inert arrow, to hit at the distant mark.
