The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

यावत्पश्याम्यहं शुभ्रां शिलां तां न च तज्जगत् ।
कलधौतमयीमुच्चैरग्निलोकतटीमिव ॥ ६ ॥

yāvatpaśyāmyahaṃ śubhrāṃ śilāṃ tāṃ na ca tajjagat |
kaladhautamayīmuccairagnilokataṭīmiva || 6 ||

As I was looking at that belt of the zodiac, I found it as a crystalline marble, and burning with fire. I could not discern any of the worlds that it encompassed.
