The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

देवासुरमनुष्याणां व्यवहारपरम्पराः ।
लोलाः प्रवृत्ता आकल्पमासमुद्रमिवापगाः ओ ॥ ७ ॥

devāsuramanuṣyāṇāṃ vyavahāraparamparāḥ |
lolāḥ pravṛttā ākalpamāsamudramivāpagāḥ o || 7 ||

There are also the gods, demigods and human beings, moving in their respective circles, within the womb of this stone; and it is from the beginning of creation, that the waters of rivers are running as those of the oceans.
