The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.64.17

क्वचिच्छून्यमहारण्यवहत्कल्पान्तमारुतः ।
क्वचित्पुष्पवनोद्यानगायद्विद्याधरीगणः ॥ १७ ॥

kvacicchūnyamahāraṇyavahatkalpāntamārutaḥ |
kvacitpuṣpavanodyānagāyadvidyādharīgaṇaḥ || 17 ||

Somewhere there appears a dismal and dreary desert forest, with loud blasts of death hovering over it; and at others there are flower gardens and groves, with the nymphs of heaven, sitting and singing in them.
