The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

कामसंवित्तिहीनानि निःस्त्रीजातानि कानिचित् ।
भूतैः संशुष्कहृदयैर्व्याप्तान्यश्ममयैरिव ॥ ४६ ॥

kāmasaṃvittihīnāni niḥstrījātāni kānicit |
bhūtaiḥ saṃśuṣkahṛdayairvyāptānyaśmamayairiva || 46 ||

Some places are peopled by heartless peoples, who are without the feelings of love and desire; and others who are not born of women, but appear to be strewn as stones on the ground.
