The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

पाषाणमौनप्रतिमं नकिंचिदभिशब्दितम् ।
यत्तत्किंचिदिति द्योतरूपं ब्रह्म जगत्स्मृतम् ॥ ३३ ॥

pāṣāṇamaunapratimaṃ nakiṃcidabhiśabditam |
yattatkiṃciditi dyotarūpaṃ brahma jagatsmṛtam || 33 ||

He is like a block of silent stone, that bears no name or epithet; but is of the form of pure light, which is termed the world also.
