The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

क्षीराम्बुधेर्जलानीव स्नेहसाराणि सर्वतः ।
तरङ्गभङ्गुराण्यन्तर्बहिश्चावृत्तिमन्ति च ॥ ५८ ॥

kṣīrāmbudherjalānīva snehasārāṇi sarvataḥ |
taraṅgabhaṅgurāṇyantarbahiścāvṛttimanti ca || 58 ||

All things are as inelastic fluid, as the fluidity of the sea waters; they are as fragile as the waves of the sea in their inside, though they appear as solid substances on the outside.
