The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

किमिदं दृश्यते किं वा प्रेक्षते कोऽहमेव वा ।
सर्व शान्तमजं व्योम चिन्मात्रात्मनि रिङ्गकम् ॥ १० ॥
kimidaṃ dṛśyate kiṃ vā prekṣate ko'hameva vā |
sarva śāntamajaṃ vyoma cinmātrātmani riṅgakam || 10 ||
What is all this that comes to our view, who is their viewer and what am I that look upon these visibles (i.e. what is this objective sight, and what is this subjective self). All this is the quiet and unborn spirit, which flashes forth in the vacuous sky with the light of its own intellect.
