The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

पदार्थजातं शैलादि यथा स्वप्ने पुरादि च ।
चिदेवैकं परं व्योम तथा जाग्रत्पदार्थभूः ॥ ३ ॥

padārthajātaṃ śailādi yathā svapne purādi ca |
cidevaikaṃ paraṃ vyoma tathā jāgratpadārthabhūḥ || 3 ||

As all created things (whether the moving or unmoving), appear in their visionary forms in our dream; so it is the vacuous Intellect alone, which appears in the various forms of existence in our waking dreams also.
