The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.53.12

शान्तं निःसुखदुःखस्य पुरुषस्यैव तिष्ठतः ।
यदस्पन्दि मनोरूपं रूपं तस्य पदस्य तत् ॥ १२ ॥

śāntaṃ niḥsukhaduḥkhasya puruṣasyaiva tiṣṭhataḥ |
yadaspandi manorūpaṃ rūpaṃ tasya padasya tat || 12 ||

The man that sits with the quiet calmness of his mind, and without any of joy or grief; comes to feel the pulsation of that spirit in himself, as he perceives the fluctuation of his mind within him.
