The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.51.11

अयमेव परो लोको भाव्यतां वासनाक्षयः ।
शाम्यतां परलोकस्थं काः किलायान्ति वासनाः ॥ ११ ॥

ayameva paro loko bhāvyatāṃ vāsanākṣayaḥ |
śāmyatāṃ paralokasthaṃ kāḥ kilāyānti vāsanāḥ || 11 ||

Know this as the next world, by suppressing your desire for a future one; rest calmly in your celestial soul even here, nor let your desires range from here to there.
