The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तेषां चिरतया स्वप्नः स जाग्रत्त्वमुपागतः ।
स्वप्नजागरकास्ते तु जीवास्ते तद्गताः स्थिताः ॥ ८ ॥

teṣāṃ ciratayā svapnaḥ sa jāgrattvamupāgataḥ |
svapnajāgarakāste tu jīvāste tadgatāḥ sthitāḥ || 8 ||

They who come to wake after their prolonged sleep and dream, are called as awakened from their sleep and dream, and to have got rid of them.
