Yoga Vasistha [sanskrit]

223,437 words | ISBN-10: 8171101519

The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.49.39

नो चेत्तत्प्रतिवाक्यार्थात्तद्ग्रन्थिर्विनिवर्तते ।
भूतोत्सादनसूत्रस्य प्रतिपत्तृपदं यथा ॥ ३९ ॥

no cettatprativākyārthāttadgranthirvinivartate |
bhūtotsādanasūtrasya pratipattṛpadaṃ yathā || 39 ||

Logomachy rather increases the doubts, but following one's advice, the error is removed off; as devil is removed off by chaunting the mantras only, rather than knowing the meaning of them.
