The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अगाधमरणावर्तकल्लोलाकुलकोटरे ।
तृष्णातरङ्गतरले स्वमनश्चण्डमारुते ॥ ३८ ॥

agādhamaraṇāvartakallolākulakoṭare |
tṛṣṇātaraṅgatarale svamanaścaṇḍamārute || 38 ||

See thy mind is wafted away by the gale of its greediness, to the vast billowy ocean of the world; and hurled to the deep cavity of its whirlpools, from whose depth no man can rise again.
