स एष वासनात्मानं जन्तुं बोधयति क्रमात् ।
संसारसागरादस्मात्तारयत्यविवेकिनम् ॥ ३० ॥

sa eṣa vāsanātmānaṃ jantuṃ bodhayati kramāt |
saṃsārasāgarādasmāttārayatyavivekinam || 30 ||

It is this which awakens and instructs, the brutish and cupidinous soul to wisdom, and by this means saves the unwise soul, from the turbulent ocean of this world.
