The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.48.27

प्रसन्नः स महादेवः स्वयमात्मा महेश्वरः ।
बोधाय प्रेरयत्याशु दूतं पूतं शुभेहितैः ॥ २७ ॥

prasannaḥ sa mahādevaḥ svayamātmā maheśvaraḥ |
bodhāya prerayatyāśu dūtaṃ pūtaṃ śubhehitaiḥ || 27 ||

The great Lord God and Supreme soul, being thus propitiated by their firm faith; sends to them at last his messenger (or angel), with his good will for their enlightenment.
