The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.48.22

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
ईश्वरो न महाबुद्धे दूरे न च सुदुर्लभः ।
महाबोधमयैकात्मा स्वात्मैव परमेश्वरः ॥ २२ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
īśvaro na mahābuddhe dūre na ca sudurlabhaḥ |
mahābodhamayaikātmā svātmaiva parameśvaraḥ || 22 ||

Vasishtha replied:—Know, O highly intelligent Rama, that the Lord God is neither at a distance nor unattainable by us; the Lord is the all knowing soul, and the soul is the great God.
