The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.47.32

परस्वादानविरतः संतोषामृतनिर्भरः ।
विवेकी क्रमशः स्वार्थानप्युपेक्षितुमिच्छति ॥ ३२ ॥

parasvādānavirataḥ saṃtoṣāmṛtanirbharaḥ |
vivekī kramaśaḥ svārthānapyupekṣitumicchati || 32 ||

He hates to taste the delicacies of others, from his satiety with the ambrosial draughts of contentment; and prepares himself for his abandonment of what he is already possessed of himself.
