The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.45.47

नूनं विषयवैतृष्ण्ये परिप्रौढिमुपागते ।
न शक्नुवन्ति निर्हर्तुं ध्यानं सेन्द्राः सुरासुराः ॥ ४७ ॥

nūnaṃ viṣayavaitṛṣṇye pariprauḍhimupāgate |
na śaknuvanti nirhartuṃ dhyānaṃ sendrāḥ surāsurāḥ || 47 ||

Verily the man that has gained his proficiency, in the suppression of his appetite for worldly objects; becomes as firm and sedate in his holy meditation, that he is not to be shaken from it, by the joint power of Indra and those of the Gods and demigods.
