The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.45.39

स्वभावो दृश्यवैरस्यमेव तत्त्वविदो निजः ।
दृश्यस्पन्दनमेवाहुरतत्त्वज्ञत्वमुत्तमाः ॥ ३९ ॥

svabhāvo dṛśyavairasyameva tattvavido nijaḥ |
dṛśyaspandanamevāhuratattvajñatvamuttamāḥ || 39 ||

He who has known truth, finds a distaste in the visibles of his own natures (i.e. is naturally averse to them); and wise men make use of the word phenomenalism for ignorance of truth.
