The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

संकल्पार्थपरित्यागाद्दिनानुदिनमातता ।
शुद्धस्वभावविश्रान्तिः परमार्थाप्तिरुच्यते ॥ २९ ॥

saṃkalpārthaparityāgāddinānudinamātatā |
śuddhasvabhāvaviśrāntiḥ paramārthāptirucyate || 29 ||

It is the leaving off of every object of desire day by day, and living the live long day with perfect composure with one's self; that is termed the attainment of godliness or full perfection in life.
