The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.45.18

केवलं केवले शुद्धे बोधात्मनि महोन्नते ।
दत्तदृष्टिः फले तस्मिन्परं समधिरोहति ॥ १८ ॥

kevalaṃ kevale śuddhe bodhātmani mahonnate |
dattadṛṣṭiḥ phale tasminparaṃ samadhirohati || 18 ||

His sight is fixed only on that single fruit on high, which is the holy and conscious soul or intellect; and with his sole object in his view, he mounts high on the higher branches of this tree of life.
