The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

रागद्वेषभयोन्मादमानमोहमहत्तया ।
नटस्येवास्य दृश्यन्ते शीतलामलचेतसः ॥ १५ ॥

rāgadveṣabhayonmādamānamohamahattayā |
naṭasyevāsya dṛśyante śītalāmalacetasaḥ || 15 ||

He views with coldness his passions and feelings, his fears, hopes, his errors and honors, as actors (dramatis personae, acting their several parts in the drama of his life.
