The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

स्फुटता सत्यता सत्ता धीरता निर्विकल्पता ।
समता शान्तता मैत्री करुणा कीर्तिरार्यता ॥ २३ ॥

sphuṭatā satyatā sattā dhīratā nirvikalpatā |
samatā śāntatā maitrī karuṇā kīrtirāryatā || 23 ||

These are the branches of frankness and truth, of constancy and firmness, of equanimity and unchangeableness, of calmness and amicableness, and of kindness, self-respect and renown.
