समाधिबीजं संसारनिर्वेदः पतति स्वयम् ।
चित्तभूमौ विविक्तायां विवेकिजनकानने ॥ ५ ॥

samādhibījaṃ saṃsāranirvedaḥ patati svayam |
cittabhūmau viviktāyāṃ vivekijanakānane || 5 ||

It is the heart's regret at the world, which is the seed of samadhi or self-resignation; and it grows of itself in the ground of the contrite heart of the wise, in the forest land of reasonable men.
