The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

ज्ञेयं रज्जुरिवाशेषं स्वभावे तिष्ठ चिद्घने ।
ज्ञप्तिरेवान्तरं बाह्यं चार्थत्वमधितिष्ठति ॥ ५२ ॥

jñeyaṃ rajjurivāśeṣaṃ svabhāve tiṣṭha cidghane |
jñaptirevāntaraṃ bāhyaṃ cārthatvamadhitiṣṭhati || 52 ||

Forsake the endless chain of knowables, and be attached to thy nature of the solid intellect; because all things whether internal or external, are comprehended under its knowledge.
