The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

निरस्तकलनाशङ्कं त्यागग्रहणवर्जितम् ।
अविसारिसमस्तेच्छं शान्तमास्व यथास्थितम् ॥ ९ ॥

nirastakalanāśaṅkaṃ tyāgagrahaṇavarjitam |
avisārisamastecchaṃ śāntamāsva yathāsthitam || 9 ||

Be you as quiet in your mind, as you are sitting still before us;by relinquishing all your fears and fancies, and renouncing all your givings and takings (to and from all persons), together with the suppression of all your desires.
