The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.39.12

क्षणाद्योजनलक्षान्तं प्राप्ते देशान्तरे चितः ।
चेतनेऽयस्य तद्रूपं मार्गमध्ये निरञ्जनम् ॥ १२ ॥

kṣaṇādyojanalakṣāntaṃ prāpte deśāntare citaḥ |
cetane'yasya tadrūpaṃ mārgamadhye nirañjanam || 12 ||

The sight of the intellect like the eye-sight of men, and the light of the luminaries of heaven, passes in a moment to the distance of millions of miles; just so does the sight of the divine intellect, stretch all over the unlimited space of creation in an instant.
