The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
संजाताकृत्रिमक्षीणसंसृतिप्रत्ययः पुमान् ।
असंकल्पो न संकल्पं वेत्ति तेनासदेव सः ॥ १ ॥
śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
saṃjātākṛtrimakṣīṇasaṃsṛtipratyayaḥ pumān |
asaṃkalpo na saṃkalpaṃ vetti tenāsadeva saḥ || 1 ||
Vasishtha continued:—The man whose reliance in this world is really lessened, who is free from desire and unobservant of his religious vows (for the sake of future reward), knowing them to be all in vain.
