The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.36.16

उच्यन्तां शब्दजालानि वंशवद्गतवासनम् ।
रसेनानङ्गलग्नेन प्रकृतानन्यचोदनैः ॥ १६ ॥

ucyantāṃ śabdajālāni vaṃśavadgatavāsanam |
rasenānaṅgalagnena prakṛtānanyacodanaiḥ || 16 ||

Give out the words from your lungs, like a sounding reed from its hollow pipe; and clear your mind from its thoughts, by keeping your body intact from busy affairs, and employing no other member of it after them.
